The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent voice-controlled mobility assistance system that enables hands-free navigation for individuals with physical disabilities. The system comprises a microphone for capturing voice commands, a cloud-based speech recognition engine for converting the commands into digital control signals, and a processing unit interfaced with an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller. The ANFIS controller integrates the recognized voice commands with real-time data received from ultrasonic and infrared obstacle detection sensors to generate adaptive motor control signals for safe wheelchair navigation. The system further provides audio and optional haptic feedback to confirm user commands and operational status. A wireless communication module facilitates remote monitoring, location tracking, and integration with Internet of Things (IoT) networks. In optional embodiments, the system incorporates AI-based vision-assisted obstacle detection and health monitoring sensors. The invention provides enhanced navigation accuracy, improved obstacle avoidance, adaptive real-time control, and reliable operation in noisy environments while offering a cost-effective and scalable mobility solution.
