MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621066112 A) filed by Urja Disha Boiler Technologies LLP on May 26, 2026, for A Solid Fuel Fired Indirect Hot Air Generator With Flue Gas Recirculation For Enhanced Thermal Efficiency.

Inventor includes Mr. Sachin Sangamnerkar.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a solid fuel fired indirect hot air generator system incorporating a flue gas recirculation arrangement for improving thermal efficiency and reducing auxiliary energy consumption. The system comprises a combustor or furnace (104), a heat exchanger (102), a process air fan (101), a combustion air fan (105), a flue gas recirculation fan (106), a flue gas cleaning unit (107), and a chimney (108). An induced air fan 109 and an optional Air preheater (110). At least a portion of spent flue gas is recirculated back into the combustor or furnace (104) through the flue gas recirculation fan (106) for reducing dilution air requirement and excess air requirement. Reduction in total gas handling quantity reduces stack heat losses and improves thermal efficiency also reduces the auxiliary electrical power consumption associated with gas handling systems Residual thermal energy carried by the recirculated flue gas further contributes to reduction in fuel consumption.
