Abstract: This invention discloses a solar-powered, smart insect trapping and monitoring system engineered specifically for sustainable pest management in organic farming environments. Traditional pest control methods rely heavily on synthetic chemical pesticides, which degrade soil health, contaminate wa-ter sources, and indiscriminately harm beneficial pollinating insects. The present system addresses these ecological concerns by integrating a physical trapping housing with an advanced, IoT-enabled optoelectronic attraction mechanism. The system comprises an array of highly sensitive light sensors, an onboard central controlling unit, a primary display unit, and a specialized multi-spectrum intensifier display powered by a solar harvesting assembly. The intensifier display dynamically modulates light wavelengths and color intensities to selectively attract specific agricultural pests during both diurnal and nocturnal cycles. Real-time capture tracking, diagnostic data, and optical settings are processed and transmitted wirelessly via an integrated Wi-Fi module to a remote cloud server, enabling farmers to monitor pest populations and control system operations via web and mobile applications.
