Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of the system incorporates a network of self-sustaining nodes, each of which runs on a hybrid photovoltaic energy management system. The node employs passive infrared sensors along with dual spectrum cameras for detection of any possible intruder. An edge-computing unit processes the detected image data using an artificial intelligence object-detection algorithm that determines the exact species of the intruding creature or human. The system then activates a species-specific non-lethal deterrent comprising acoustic, ultrasonic, and visual deterrents that would effectively deter the species without inflicting physical damage on it.
