Abstract: TITLE: A SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM FOR MONITORING, ANALYSIS, AND OPERATIONAL CONTROL. The present invention discloses an Internet of Things (IoT)-based intelligent solar photovoltaic (PV) monitoring and control system (100) for monitoring and controlling the operation of a solar photovoltaic installation. The system (100) comprises a solar photovoltaic panel (102), a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) charge controller (104), a microcontroller (106), a sensing module (108), a wireless communication module (110), an edge-computing controller (112), a relay control module (114), and an Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring module (116). The sensing module (108) acquires photovoltaic voltage, current, panel temperature, solar irradiance, dust accumulation, and MPPT duty-cycle information. The acquired information is transmitted to the edge-computing controller (112) for operational analysis, fault detection, and supervisory control. The relay control module (114) disconnects the photovoltaic load during abnormal operating conditions, while the IoT monitoring module (116) provides remote monitoring, operational data visualization, cloud-based storage, and maintenance alerts. The disclosed system improves operational reliability, fault identification, maintenance efficiency, and overall photovoltaic energy generation.
