The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a solar based electric vehicle with battery backup is disclosed comprising solar panel (1), MPPT charge controller (2), battery (3), DPDT switch battery selector (4), current and voltage sensor (5), Arduino nano (6), DPDT switch motor direction (7), and DC motor (8). The solar panel (1) connected in parallel generates DC electricity from sunlight and supplies it to the MPPT charge controller (2) which charges the battery (3). The DPDT switch battery selector (4) selects power source, while the current and voltage sensor (5) monitors electrical parameters and provides data to the Arduino nano (6) for control. The DPDT switch motor direction (7) controls polarity and drives the DC motor (8) for motion. A TP4056 charging module ensures safe battery charging and an LM2596 converter provides stable voltage output. The system enables photovoltaic energy harvesting with battery backup, stable operation, and propulsion under variable lighting conditions without requiring an off-board charging source.
