Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV)-based Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) safety communication system (100) for real-time accident prevention. The system comprises a QNX microkernel (102), a sensing thread (104), a V2V communication thread (106), a risk computation thread (108), an SDV controller (110) and an actuation thread (112). The sensing thread (104) acquires vehicle data including vehicle speed, position, brake status and timestamp. The V2V communication thread (106) exchanges vehicle data with nearby vehicles and processes acknowledgement, communication delay and packet loss. The risk computation thread (108) determines collision risk using relative speed, relative distance, brake status and Time-to-Collision (TTC). The SDV controller (110) determines a safety condition, while the actuation thread (112) generates warning and emergency braking responses. The QNX microkernel (102) enables deterministic and concurrent processing of safety-critical information for predictive collision avoidance. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
