Abstract: This project focuses on addressing the problem of excessive heat accumulation inside parked vehicles caused by prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. When a car is left stationary under the sun, the internal cabin temperature increases rapidly due to the greenhouse effect, often exceeding 60–70 °C. This rise in temperature not only causes severe discomfort for passengers but also leads to potential damage to various interior components such as dashboards, upholstery, plastic parts, and sensitive electronic systems. Continuous exposure to high temperatures can degrade materials, reduce the lifespan of electronic devices, and affect the overall performance of the vehicle. In addition to material damage, high cabin temperatures pose serious safety risks for humans, especially children and elderly individuals, who enter the vehicle shortly after it has been parked. The extreme heat can create unhealthy and even dangerous conditions within a short period of time. Furthermore, when the vehicle is started, the air-conditioning system is required to work harder to reduce the temperature, resulting in increased energy consumption and reduced efficiency. To overcome these challenges, the proposed system introduces a Smart Ventilation System based on embedded technology. The system continuously monitors the cabin temperature using a temperature sensor and processes the data using a microcontroller. In automatic mode, when the temperature exceeds a predefined threshold (typically 45–50 °C), the system activates an exhaust fan to remove the hot air from the cabin and improve air circulation. This helps in reducing the internal temperature effectively before the user enters the vehicle. In addition to automatic operation, the system also provides manual control using a Bluetooth module (HC-05). This allows the user to remotely activate the ventilation system through a mobile application before entering the vehicle. By enabling pre-cooling, the system ensures a more comfortable environment inside the car. Overall, the proposed solution offers a simple, cost-effective, and energy- efficient approach to managing cabin heat.
