Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart regenerative suspension system for harvesting vibrational energy generated during vehicular movement over uneven road surfaces. The system comprises a suspension assembly mechanically coupled to a linear rack and pinion mechanism that converts reciprocating suspension motion into rotational motion. The rotational motion drives an AC generator to produce electrical energy. A power conditioning unit including rectification and voltage regulation circuitry stabilizes the generated electrical output before storing it in a rechargeable battery. The system further incorporates voltage and current sensing modules for monitoring electrical parameters and a microcontroller configured to calculate power generation, energy recovery performance, and battery charging status. A wireless communication module transmits operational data to a remote monitoring platform for real-time analysis and diagnostics. The invention provides a mechanically simple, lightweight, cost-effective, and IoT- enabled energy harvesting solution capable of recovering otherwise wasted suspension energy while enabling intelligent monitoring and efficient electrical energy storage.
