Abstract: The present invention relates to a Smart Key Finder for locating misplaced or lost keys using wireless communication and intelligent tracking technology. The system comprises a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module, an embedded microcontroller, a buzzer, LED indicator, rechargeable battery, and a mobile application for real-time communication and monitoring. The Smart Key Finder is attached to a keychain and communicates with a user's smartphone through Bluetooth. When the user initiates a search through the mobile application, the device activates an audible buzzer and flashing LED indicator, enabling the user to quickly locate the misplaced keys. The invention further provides separation alerts when the distance between the smartphone and the key finder exceeds a predefined range, thereby helping prevent accidental loss. In one embodiment, the system optionally incorporates GPS or cloud-based location services to record the last known location of the keys when Bluetooth connectivity is interrupted. The device also includes intelligent power management for extended battery life and provides low-battery notifications to the user. The proposed invention offers a compact, portable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solution for locating keys while minimizing search time and inconvenience. The system is suitable for residential, commercial, and institutional applications and enhances user convenience through reliable wireless tracking and real-time mobile connectivity.
