Abstract: A wearable safety monitoring apparatus integrated within a wearable garment jacket (128) for monitoring physiological conditions and generating emergency alerts is disclosed. The apparatus includes a wearable health monitoring device assembly (100) including a pulse oximetry, heart rate sensor module (112), temperature sensor probe (104), GPS module (116), a main printed circuit board (110) and a rechargeable battery unit (118) enclosed within a device enclosure housing (106). The main printed circuit board (110) is configured to receive physiological data and location data, compare the physiological data with predefined threshold values and generate an alert signal upon detection of abnormal physiological conditions. the alert signal and location data are transmitted through a wireless communication network to a remote monitoring platform for worker monitoring in industrial environments.
