Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: A SMART INSOLE SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME MONITORING AND PREVENTION OF DIABETIC FOOT ULCERS The titled invention discloses a smart wearable insole system combines an integrated -Peltier-based heat regulation mechanism with real-time multi-parameter sensing of plantar pressure and foot temperature to enable continuous monitoring and automated 10 prevention of diabetic foot ulcers. The sensing module (1) is embedded within the insole. The system includes a plurality of pressure sensors (2) and a temperature sensor (3) to monitor the pressure distribution on the sole of the foot and temperature changes at different points. A microcontroller unit (4) receives and interprets the data from the sensors (2, 3), which is then transmitted wirelessly through a wireless 15 communication module (6) to a cloud server and a mobile application interface (7) for monitoring. When the system identifies any abnormal changes in pressure distribution or temperature, the microcontroller unit (4) generates alerts and activates a massaging module (9) to provide localized mechanical stimulation. The system further includes a power supply (5) to support continuous operation and a thermal regulation module (8) 20 for controlled heating or cooling if required. This integrated system helps in the prevention of ulcers and their subsequent infections and amputations by improving blood flow, reducing stress on affected regions, and preventing the development of ulcers.
