Abstract: The current invention pertains to a mobile application which has been developed for managing a hostel in a smart manner through which attendance, communication, grievance management, payments, and the well-being of the students can be efficiently managed on one platform only. In the context of this invention, the application uses attendance based on QR codes which also verifies the location of the individual with the help of GPS. With regards to storage, processing, and monitoring of the students' data, attendance record, grievances, and payments, the application uses an API to integrate with the cloud-based backend system. The current invention makes use of a chatbot which has been powered with Artificial Intelligence. As a result, students will be able to receive anonymous emotional support from this chatbot which would enable them to share their problems in order to receive empathic responses. Furthermore, the current invention comprises all the functionalities provided by a user-friendly interface which makes it easy to manage all functionalities offered in the application. As far as the main objective behind developing the current invention is concerned, it seeks to offer a secure, efficient, and intelligent way of managing hostels.
