MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641076910 A) filed by Sr University on June 22, 2026, for A Smart Deep Learning Ensemble Model For Early Diagnosis And Management Of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
Inventors include Ch. Divya; and Dr. P Pramod Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: A SMART DEEP LEARNING ENSEMBLE MODEL FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS The present invention relates to a smart deep learning ensemble system for early diagnosis and management of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). The system integrates multimodal patient data including clinical records, genomic information, medical imaging, wearable device data, and patient-reported outcomes. A preprocessing module prepares the data, while a feature selection component identifies relevant disease indicators. The system employs an ensemble of convolutional neural networks (CNN), long short-term memory (LSTM) networks, and bidirectional long short-term memory (BLSTM) networks to predict disease onset, progression, flare-ups, and secondary complications including albuminuria and lupus nephritis. Explainable artificial intelligence techniques provide interpretable insights into model predictions and treatment recommendations. The invention further supports personalized treatment planning, long-term disease forecasting for up to five years, remote patient monitoring, and clinical decision support, thereby improving diagnostic accuracy, patient outcomes, and healthcare scalability.
