The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A smart composting and recycling bin assembly (100) is disclosed for automated segregation and processing of waste materials. The assembly (100) comprises a structural body (102), a waste input unit (104), an AI vision unit (106), a sensor arrangement (108), a control unit (118), a biodegradable waste compartment (110), a non-biodegradable waste compartment (112), a grinding unit (114), an odour control unit (116), an IoT communication unit (120), a power unit (122), and a user interface (124). The AI vision unit (106) and sensor arrangement (108) classify waste, and the control unit (118) directs the waste to the respective compartment (110, 112). Biodegradable waste undergoes decomposition, while non-biodegradable waste is processed into reduced form. The odour control unit (116) neutralizes odours. The assembly (100) enables automated waste segregation, composting, and recycling with operational monitoring. Accompanied Drawings [Figures 1-4]
