Abstract: A SMART BIDIRECTIONAL CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE WITH AN OPTIMIZED VEHICLE-TO-GRID (V2G) ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The present invention relates to a smart bidirectional charging infrastructure integrated with an optimized Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) energy management system and an AI-based Battery Management System (BMS). The system enables controlled bidirectional energy transfer between electric vehicles and the power grid through a bidirectional DC-DC converter and an AC-DC inverter. The AI-based BMS continuously monitors battery parameters including state-of-charge (SOC), state-of-health (SOH), voltage, current, and temperature, and utilizes machine-learning algorithms to determine optimal charging and discharging schedules. A smart energy manager communicates with the grid through an IoT interface to perform real-time Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) operations based on grid conditions, electricity prices, and renewable energy availability. The system improves grid stability, enhances renewable energy utilization, extends battery life, and supports efficient large-scale deployment of electric vehicles.
