Abstract: ABSTRACT A semi-automated stretcher system (100) is provided for controlled transfer of a patient or cadaver between a bed and a stretcher. The system (100) comprises an Arduino UNO (101), power supply (102), first and second two-way switches (103, 104), first and second gearhead motors (105, 106), motorized conveyor belt (107), and mechanical height adjustment mechanism (108). The power supply (102) supplies electrical power to the system, while the switches (103, 104) provide directional inputs to the Arduino UNO (101). The Arduino UNO (101) processes the inputs and controls the gearhead motors (105, 106), which drive the conveyor belt (107) forward or reverse for lateral transfer. The mechanical height adjustment mechanism (108), comprising a scissor jack, manually raises or lowers the stretcher to align the conveyor belt (107) with the bed. The system reduces manual lifting effort and facilitates controlled transfer. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
