Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a self-defense system (100). The self-defense system (100) may include a sensor assembly (102) configured to detect environmental data associated with a surrounding environment of a user, an actuation assembly (104) configured to trigger at least one response component, and a controller (202). The controller (202) may receive the environmental data from the sensor assembly (102), determine a threat category based on the environmental data, and generate a first defensive response, a second defensive response, or a third defensive response corresponding to a movement-based threat condition, a contact-based threat condition, or an audio-based threat condition, respectively. The controller (202) may further determine a defensive response based on one or more of the generated defensive responses and may actuate the actuation assembly (104) to trigger the at least one response component according to the determined defensive response.
