MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611063577 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology on May 20, 2026, for A Secure Hardware Authentication Circuit For Embedded Systems.
Inventors include Dr. Dhananjay Singh; and Nitu Rao.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: A secure hardware authentication circuit for embedded systems is disclosed. The circuit includes a challenge interface, freshness generator, protected credential store, key access controller, cryptographic response engine, tamper monitor, authentication state controller, and access gate. A transaction specific challenge is processed with protected credential material inside hardware to generate an authentication decision without exposing the credential to the host controller. Tamper conditions inhibit key release, while successful verification enables selected embedded resources, including boot, memory, communication, update, diagnostic, or peripheral functions.
