Abstract: Medical image tampering is a significant issue in medical diagnosis, especially for brain MRI image-based tumor-related medical diagnosis, where image reliability is possibly essential. A slight change in medical image information may cause wrong interpretations, substantially impacting medical diagnosis outcomes. For addressing medical image forgery, this project proposes a new mode of brain medical image diagnosis, where image authenticity will be guaranteed before any processing for medical diagnosis. For this, a new image diagnosis framework will be implemented, where a collaborative architecture based on a cloud computing system and edge computing system will be incorporated. In this initial phase, medical images will be processed, and any image that is detected as a forgery will be detected, while only genuine medical images will be considered for further processing. Finally, tumor detection, segmentation, and explanation analysis are carried out in a cloud environment to enable clinically interpretable results. Subsequently, diagnostic reports along with MRI scan results are sent to a Raspberry Pi 4, a trusted edge gateway. In the edge layer, hash-based integrity checking is conducted, and finally, these checked reports are sent to authorized clinicians and patients through encrypted SMTP protocol with a secure case identification mechanism.
