Abstract: ABSTRACT A SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE The present invention relates to a saddle-type vehicle (100). The saddle-type vehicle (10) includes a frame, an energy storage unit (120), a traction motor (130), a rear suspension (140) and a control unit (150). The energy storage unit (120) is supportably mounted on a front portion of the frame and positioned forward of the rear suspension (140). The traction motor (130) is configured to drive the vehicle (100). The control unit (150) is operably connected to the traction motor (130) and disposed behind the energy storage unit (120). The control unit (150) is positioned at one side of a vehicle central longitudinal axis (A-A`) of the vehicle (100), and the rear suspension (140) is positioned on the opposite side of the vehicle central longitudinal axis (A-A`).
