Further, the left main tube (14A) and the right main tube (14B) extend rearwardly from the head tube (12). The saddle type vehicle (10) has a left rear tube (16A) and a right rear tube (16B). The left rear tube (16A) is connected to the left main tube (14A) and the right rear tube (16B) is connected to the right main tube (14B). The saddle type vehicle (10) has an energy storage unit (100) configured for supplying power to one or more electrical components of the saddle type vehicle (10).
