Abstract: The present invention relates to a saddle type vehicle (10). The saddle type vehicle (10) comprises of a head pipe (12). A pair of main frames (14) extends rearwardly and downwardly from the head pipe (12). The pair of rear frames (22) extends rearwardly from a pair of main frames (14). The pair of rear frames (22) being configured to support at least a seat assembly (32). A seat latch assembly (100) is disposed between the pair of rear frames (22) in a vehicle width direction. The seat latch assembly (100) is adapted to receive a pin (108) provided on the seat assembly (32) for locking the seat assembly (32) of the vehicle (10).
