Abstract: ABSTRACT A Saddle Type Vehicle The present invention relates to a saddle type vehicle (100). More particularly, the present invention relates to mounting of a control unit (200) in the saddle type vehicle (100). The saddle type vehicle (100) comprises of a head pipe (102), a frame assembly (104), a battery housing (106), and a control unit (200). The frame assembly (104) extends rearwardly from the head pipe (102) in a vehicle front-rear direction. The battery housing (106) is mounted on the frame assembly (104) and comprising a top cover member, a bottom cover member, and a plurality of sidewalls (108) extending orthogonally from the bottom cover member. The battery housing (106) is adapted to receive one or more battery packs. The control unit (200) is mounted on one of the side members of the battery housing (106), thereby ensuring ease of access when servicing the saddle type vehicle (100). Reference
