Abstract: A ROTOR ASSEMBLY OF A SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR The invention discloses a rotor assembly (100) of a synchronous motor configured to enhance excitation efficiency and manufacturability. The rotor assembly (100) comprises a rotor core (106) mounted concentrically around a motor shaft (202). The rotor core (106) incorporates a plurality of V-shaped grooves (114) extending along the axis of the motor shaft (202). A plurality of segmented poles (102) are disposed circumferentially on the rotor core (106), each segmented pole (102) having a T-shaped structure. The T-shaped structure includes a long arm (208) aligned with the V- shaped grooves (114), wherein the long arm (208) carries a rotor winding (104). The rotor winding (104) is pre-wound on each long arm (208) prior to assembly, enabling modular construction. A rotor mounting plate (110) and rotor endcap (112) are aligned to axially retain the segmented poles (102), while the rotor endcap (112) prevents forward or backward displacement once assembled, ensuring structural integrity.
