Inventors include Chandan Baskar; and Shantanu Thakar.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: A ROBOTIC INSPECTION EQUIPMENT FOR PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS ABSTRACT A robotic inspection equipment (100) for printed circuit boards is disclosed. The equipment includes a robotic manipulator (110) having a base (111), interconnected joints (112) and links (113) for maneuverability for the printed circuit boards. The equipment includes an optical instrument (120) mounted on the robotic manipulator, wherein the optical instrument comprises a camera (121), a lighting system (122), and an adjustable focus mechanism (123). The equipment includes a control system (130) configured to guide the robotic manipulator, wherein the control system comprising trained machine learning models to process one or more images captured by the optical instrument, wherein the control system (130) is configured to receive and compare the images with a prestored set of images of the printed circuit boards using the trained machine leaning models. The control system (130) identifies an anomaly in the printed circuit boards based on comparison and computer vision techniques. FIG. 1
