MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611104382 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 27, 2026, for A Robotic Endovascular Navigation And Physiological Assessment System And Method Thereof.

Inventors include Dr. Hemant Bareth; Dr. Bhumi Chaturvedi; Dr. Sandeep Tripathi; Dr. Dushyant Singh Chauhan; Dr. Deepak Nathiya; and Dr. Sunil Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A robotic endovascular navigation system (100) comprising, a data ingestion gateway (101) receives multi-modal imaging and hemodynamic streams. A vessel analysis processor (102) extracts gated lumen boundaries, which an intravascular co-registration processor (103) maps with morphology data. A roadmap generation engine (104) reconstructs a 3D centerline graph, and a navigation planning processor (105) computes optimized trajectories. A parallel risk stratification circuit (106) calculates injury coefficients. An execution controller (107) translates path vectors into actuator commands for a robotic actuation assembly (109) housing a coaxial friction-roller cassette. An annular torque sensor array (110) provides closed-loop force feedback, enabling the execution controller (107) to maintain forces below thresholds or micro-stepping back-off during risk spikes. A hardware radiation optimisation module (108) suppresses fluoroscopy when tool force variance stays under 0.01 Newtons for over 3.0 seconds. Monitoring occurs through a haptic physician interface (111), and data is secured by a data recording appliance (112).
