Abstract: ABSTRACT A ROBOTIC ARM–BASED BIDIRECTIONAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF The present invention relates to robotic system and method for enabling bidirectional communication between hearing and speech and/or hearing-impaired persons. The system converts spoken language into sign language gestures using robotic gesture generation assembly comprising two robotic hands (104) with articulated fingers actuated by servo motors. Each sign language gesture is represented as a servo-angle vector controlling finger positions. Speech input is processed through a speech recognition module and mapped to corresponding gestures stored in a gesture database. The robotic hands (104) execute the gestures in real time through a microcontroller (103) and servo motor driver (104). The system includes a gesture capture unit (105) and gesture recognition module (106) to recognize sign language gestures and convert them into text and audible speech output. Fig. 1
