The reverse switch (104) when pressed generates a signal to enable a rider of the vehicle to move the vehicle (10) in a vehicle backward direction. The system (100) includes a control unit (106). The control unit (106) is communicatively connected to the reverse switch (104). The control unit (106) is configured to receive the signal from the reverse switch (104) when the reverse switch (104) is pressed by the rider and send another signal to a drive unit (110) of the vehicle to move the vehicle (10) in the vehicle backward direction.
