The anchoring suture unit (106) may comprise a first suture (108), a second suture (110) coextending with the first suture (108), and an anchor (112) configured collectively over the coextending first suture (108) and second suture (110). The anchor (112) may be configured to undergo a controlled deformation by the pulling of one or more of the first free end (108a) and second free end (108b) of the first suture (108), and the first free end (110a) and second free end (110b) of the second suture (110).
