MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611082231 A) filed by Indraprastha Institute Of Information Technology Delhi on July 03, 2026, for A Response Generation System For Reliable Static Random-Access Memory (sram) Physical Unclonable Functions (puf).
Inventors include Pratik Pal; Deepank Grover; and Sujay Deb.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a response generation system (100) for reliable SRAM PUF comprising a memory array (102) further comprising a plurality of modified SRAM bit-cells (104), and a plurality of bit lines (112). The system (100) also comprising a control unit (114) further comprises an acquisition module (116) to acquire startup responses or the response bit, and a stability evaluation module (118) to determine a stability score for each response bit received. The control unit (114) comprises a bit selection module (120) to assign a weighted score to each response bit, and a masking module (122) to exclude and mask response bits having weighted scores below a predetermined threshold. The control unit (114) comprises a response generation module (124) to generate PUF mode response from the remaining response bits response bits having stability scores above or equal to the predetermined threshold. The system (100) also comprising a decoder unit (114). FIG. 1A
