MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611063570 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology on May 20, 2026, for A Reconfigurable Antenna Array For Multi-Band Applications.

Inventors include Ashutosh Kumar Singh; and Purnima Pal.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: A reconfigurable antenna array for multi-band applications includes radiating elements on a dielectric substrate, switchable tuning branches, radio-frequency switching units, selectable matching networks, phase control circuits, and controllable isolation structures. An array controller retrieves stored configuration states and coordinates resonance selection, impedance matching, pattern control, and coupling reduction for selected operating bands. The common aperture supports different communication services without separate fixed antennas for each band. The structure is suitable for compact wireless devices, access points, vehicular modules, satellite terminals, and internet of things gateways.
