MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511061509 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology on June 27, 2025, for A Real-Time Violence Detection System Using Deep Learning And Iot.
Inventors include Abhay Sharma; Kanishk Arya Singh; and Subhash Chandra.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a real-time violence detection system using deep learning and IoT (100) comprises at least one video capturing device (102) configured to continuously monitor a physical environment and generate live video streams and an edge computing unit (104) configured to locally process video input with minimal latency. The system also includes a deep learning-based video analysis model (106) configured to detect patterns associated with violent behavior in video sequences and a software stack (108) including Python, TensorFlow, and OpenCV for preprocessing, analyzing, and interpreting the visual input from the video capturing device. The system also includes a real-time alert transmission module (110) configured to automatically send notifications to predefined recipients or authorities when violent activity is detected, without requiring human intervention. The system also includes a web-based control and monitoring interface (112) configured to display detection logs, live video feed, and system alerts to authorized users.
