Abstract: ABSTRACT A REAL TIME MULTI-SCALE OBJECT DETECTION METHOD FOR AUTONOMOUS DRIVING ON ROAD ENVIRONMENT RECOGNITION The present invention discloses a real-time multi-scale object detection method and system for autonomous driving. The method involves capturing digital video and image sequences of a road environment, processing these sequences to detect objects at multiple scales, classifying the detected objects, tracking their motion, estimating their distance, and embedding contextual information. The system includes a camera, a processor, and various modules for capturing, processing, and analysing the image data.
