Abstract: ABSTRACT A REAL-TIME FETAL MOTION TRACKING AND INTELLIGENT ALERTING SYSTEM FOR RISK MITIGATION DURING PREGNANCY The present invention relates to a real-time fetal motion tracking and intelligent alerting system for monitoring fetal movement patterns during pregnancy and facilitating early identification of potentially abnormal changes requiring clinical attention. The system comprises one or more wearable sensing units configured to detect mechanical, acoustic, physiological, or motion-related signals associated with fetal activity, a processing unit configured to acquire and analyze the sensed signals, a communication module, a data storage module, and an intelligent alerting module. The sensing unit may include accelerometers, gyroscopes, pressure sensors, piezoelectric sensors, acoustic sensors, or combinations thereof, positioned externally on the maternal abdominal region. The acquired signals are subjected to preprocessing operations including noise reduction, artifact removal, signal filtering, segmentation, and feature extraction to distinguish probable fetal movements from maternal body movements and environmental disturbances. An artificial intelligence or machine-learning model analyzes movement frequency, intensity, duration, temporal distribution, and individualized baseline patterns to generate a fetal activity profile. The system continuously compares current fetal motion characteristics with personalized historical patterns and predetermined reference thresholds to identify significant reductions, irregularities, or unusual variations in fetal activity. Upon detection of a potential risk condition, the intelligent alerting module generates one or more alerts through a mobile application, wearable interface, healthcare communication platform, or remote monitoring system. The system may further provide graphical visualization, trend analysis, movement summaries, and clinician- accessible reports. By enabling continuous, objective, personalized, and remotely accessible monitoring of fetal motion, the invention reduces dependence on subjective maternal perception and manual movement counting. The proposed system supports timely awareness, improved communication between pregnant individuals and healthcare providers, and enhanced pregnancy monitoring while functioning as a decision-support and risk-alerting platform rather than a replacement for professional medical diagnosis.
