MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075970 A) filed by Moumita Roy; Dr. Mahesh Kumar Jha; and Cmr Institute Of Technology on June 19, 2026, for A Real-Time Ai-Assisted Temperature-Regulated And Shortest-Route Optimized Fish Harvest Transport System.

Inventors include Moumita Roy; and Dr. Mahesh Kumar Jha.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a real-time AI-assisted temperature-regulated fish harvest transport system for fishermen. The system integrates an on-call refrigerated transport mechanism with an artificial intelligence based shortest-route identifying module to ensure rapid and quality-preserving transportation of freshly harvested fish from coastal locations to cold storage facilities. The system comprises an AI-enabled control platform, IoT-equipped temperature-controlled transport units, a real- time monitoring and alert mechanism, and a dynamic routing module that continuously computes and optimizes the shortest and least spoilage-risk route based on traffic, weather, distance, and environmental parameters. Temperature conditions within the transport unit are autonomously regulated in coordination with predicted transit duration and route conditions. The invention significantly reduces post harvest losses, improves cold-chain efficiency, and enhances accessibility of intelligent logistics services for small and medium-scale fishermen.
