MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641059593 A) filed by Suganthi A; and K. Vidya on May 11, 2026, for A Quantum-Enhanced Artificial Intelligence System For Secure And Fraud Resistant Electronic Commerce Transactions.
Inventors include Suganthi A; and K. Vidya.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a secure electronic commerce transaction system that integrates artificial-intelligence, based fraud~detection”with quantum-resistant cryptographic protection. The system is designed to detect fraudulent transactions in real time while ensuring secure transmission and protection of sensitive transaction data. In one embodiment, transaction data is collected (100) and processed through a fraud-detection framework comprising data preprocessing (101), data balancing (102), behavioural clustering (103), feature selection (106), and deep-leaming-based classification (107) to generate a fraud-likelihood output for each transaction. The system identifies legitimate and fraudulent transaction patterns with improved accuracy and reliability. In parallel, a quantum-resistant cryptographic framework establishes secure keys using quantum photon generation (109) and applies structured keyprotection (110), authentication (111), optimized transmission control (112), and encryption mechanisms (116) to protect transaction data against classical and quantum-based attacks. The integrated operation of fraud detection and cryptographic security enables secure, efficient, and reliable online transactions. The system improves fraud-detection accuracy, lowers security risks, and provides long- term protection.
