MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541018952 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Information Technology Design Kancheepuram; Dr Jayachandra Bingi; and Atom Jig Pvt Ltd on March 03, 2025, for A Quantum Capacitance Measurement Device.

Inventor includes Dr Jayachandra Bingi.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a quantum capacitance measurement device with acoustic and mechanical modulation to probe the density of states of a material sample. The measurement device comprises an acoustic source, a rotary pressure drum, and a sample platform. The acoustic source is configured to generate acoustic waves. The sample platform serves to place a material specimen. Three terminals, source, gate and drain are supported on the sample platform to be positioned on top side of the sample specimen. A gas sensor is designed with a processing module and the quantum capacitance measurement device.
