The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a quad-band microstrip patch antenna system (100) comprising a dielectric substrate, a radiating patch, a ground plane, and a microstrip feedline. The radiating patch includes dual circular slot structures, a centrally positioned H-shaped slot structure, and a plurality of periodic rectangular slot structures configured to modify surface current distribution for multiband resonance generation. The ground plane comprises a defected ground structure including slot regions configured to alter ground current flow and introduce inductive-capacitive loading characteristics. The microstrip feedline comprises a stepped-width configuration configured to improve impedance matching across multiple resonant frequencies. The antenna is fabricated on a single-layer FR-4 substrate structure and provides compact multiband operation through coordinated integration of heterogeneous slot geometries and defected ground configurations within a planar antenna architecture.
