Abstract: ABSTRACT A PUPIL EXPANDER The present disclosure envisages a pupil expander assembly comprising a pupil expander (100) and an injector (118) having a cartridge (116). The pupil expander (100) comprises a resilient annular body (102) defining an open top portion (102A) and an open bottom portion (102B). A first flange (104) extends from the top portion (102A) and a second flange (106) extends from the bottom portion (102B). Protruding lobes (108A-108D, 108A'-108D') are configured at opposite ends of the flanges (104, 106) such that the protruding lobes (108A-108D) of the first flange (104) coincide with the protruding lobes (108A'- 108D') of the second flange (106). Guiding slots (110A-110D) are configured on the protruding lobes (108A-108D, 108A'-108D'). The flanges (104, 106), the protruding lobes (108A-108D, 108A'-108D'), and the guiding slots (110A-110D) permit uniform circular expansion of a pupil (156).
