Abstract: The present invention relates to a pump motor protection system for intermittent water. The system comprises a level detection module (105) configured to determine a fluid demand condition, a flow sensing module (103) configured to detect real-time fluid movement within a supply conduit, a programmable processing and control unit (101) coupled to the sensing modules (103, 105), and at least one switching interface module (104, 108) configured to control energization of a pump motor (106). The processing and control unit (101) permits motor operation only when both the fluid demand condition and a verified flow condition are satisfied and automatically deactivates the motor (106) upon detection of insufficient fluid flow irrespective of tank level status. By establishing flow verification as a protective override within a level-controlled architecture, the invention prevents dry-run operation, reduces energy consumption, and enhances lifespan of pumping equipment under intermittent supply conditions.
