Abstract: A PROSTHETIC KNEE JOINT ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Disclosed herein a mechanically adjustable prosthetic knee joint configured for enhanced stability, durability, and user adaptability, comprising a steel umbrella head (102) and pyramidal top part (101), preventing misalignment and wear while ensuring structural integrity. Further, the prosthetic knee joint is having a spring link (103) supports at least 50% of the load, regulating movement by interacting with an internal spring assembly, which allows manual tension adjustments for controlled motion resistance. The prosthetic knee joint further comprises of a bend link (104) that stabilizes the joint and maintains geometric accuracy, and a hinge mechanism enables smooth flexion and extension, providing a natural walking experience. Lightweight aluminum components reduce weight, enhancing mobility and reducing fatigue. The prosthetic is cost-effective, utilizing pressure die casting for scalable production. The prosthetic knee joint is efficient for amputees seeking an affordable, durable, and adjustable knee joint, improving daily movement while maintaining a visually appealing design.
