MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621083644 A) filed by Dattatray Bhagwan Ghogare; and . Vaishali Dattatray Ghogare on July 07, 2026, for A Proportional Water Distribution System For Irrigation And Its Method Of Operation.
Inventors include Dattatray Bhagwan Ghogare; and . Vaishali Dattatray Ghogare.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a geometrically configured proportional water distribution system for irrigation. The system comprises a water receiving chamber, multiple water distribution chambers, partition members defining predetermined proportional capacities among the chambers, and outlet conduits associated with the respective chambers. In a preferred embodiment, unequal radial partition plates divide an annular region formed between concentric inner and outer chambers into multiple distribution chambers. Water entering the receiving chamber overflows into the distribution chambers and is discharged through respective outlet conduits in predetermined proportions as per the area of the field to be irrigated. The invention enables passive proportional allocation of irrigation water without requiring electronic controllers, sensors, pumps, actuators, or active flow-control devices. Adjustable partitions, interchangeable partition assemblies, modular construction, and multi-stage distribution systems are also disclosed.
