MEENAKSHI AMMAL DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a process of preparation of herbal face wash composition comprising: a. collecting and drying red banana peels, in which fresh red banana peels are washed thoroughly with distilled water, shade dried and pulverized into fine powder to form powdered peel material; b. subjecting the powdered peel material to hydroalcoholic extraction using ethanol in water at a solvent-to-solid ratio, refluxed at predetermined temperature, followed by filtration and concentration to obtain a red banana peel extract; c. fermenting the banana peel extract by inoculating with Lactobacillus plantarum and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, incubated and predetermined pH to obtain fermented extract; d. blending the fermented red banana peel extract with aloe vera gel, neem extract, turmeric extract, honey, glycerin, oatmeal powder, walnut shell powder, xanthan gum, carbomer, tea tree and lavender essential oils and purified water to form a mixture; e. homogenizing the mixture to obtain herbal face wash composition;
