Abstract: TITLE: A PROCESS FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT USING COW DUNG ASH-BASED COAGULATION– FLOCCULATION APPLICANT: MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ABSTRACT The present invention shall discloses a process for wastewater treatment comprising: a. preparing cow dung ash by controlled combustion of dried cow dung cakes followed by sun drying and sieving to obtain predetermined particles size; b. introducing cow dung ash into wastewater to form a mixture; c. subjecting the mixture to rapid mixing and subsequently subjecting to slow mixing to form a suspension; d. transferring the suspension to a sedimentation unit and allowing gravitational settling to obtain clarified supernatant water. The present invention shall discloses a wastewater treatment, prepared by the process as described above.
