Abstract: A PROCESS FOR THE PREPRATION OF ARGININE ENCAPSULATED NANO LIGNIN FOR PLANTS AND USES THEREOF The present invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of arginine-encapsulated lignin nanoparticle (Ag-LNp) for plant applications. The process comprises optimization of lignin and chitosan concentrations followed by ionic gelation and controlled cross-linking to form stable lignin–chitosan nanocomplexes. Arginine is encapsulated within the optimized nanocarrier system under controlled conditions to obtain uniform nanoparticles with improved stability. The prepared nanoparticles are further subjected to centrifugation, ultrasonication, and lyophilization for purification and enhanced storage stability. The synthesized Ag-LNp is characterized using analytical techniques for evaluation of particle size, morphology, and structural properties. The invention provides a sustainable biopolymer-based nano delivery system exhibiting enhanced encapsulation efficiency and suitability for plant applications.
