Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) from fish scales. This invention directly relates to the conversion of waste fish scales into carbon nanotubes using a simple high-temperature furnace. It uses readily available waste fish scales to produce carbon nanotubes. It solves the problem of managing fish-scale waste while simultaneously producing large quantities of carbon nanotubes. The proposed process for converting fish scales into carbon nanotubes is simple, which reduces the cost of carbon nanotubes for large-scale production. This invention also relates to the bio-waste management for valuable products. Fig. 1
