Abstract: A PROCESS FOR PREPARING SPIROBI[INDOLIN]-2-ONE COMPOUNDS The present invention relates to the field of organic synthesis. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for preparing spirobi[indolin]-2-one compounds. The present process is simple, single-step, economical, and industrially applicable. In particular, the invention provides a simple, efficient, economical, and industrially applicable single-step process for preparing spirobi[indolin]-2-one compounds of Formula (III). The present invention also relates to spirobi[indolin]-2-one compounds prepared thereby. The process enables the synthesis of biologically relevant spirocyclic scaffolds in a single step with high stereoselectivity, making it suitable for large-scale and industrial applications.
