Abstract: The present invention is related to a process for preparing multi-unit particulate system for oral administration of cow urine, aimed at overcoming challenges of poor palatability. Cow urine, though extensively described in Ayurvedic literature for its therapeutic benefits such as immunomodulatory and antimicrobial properties, is difficult to consume directly due to its pungent odor and unpleasant taste. In the proposed formulation, a coating solution is prepared by dissolving film-forming agents in cow urine. Using the Wurster fluidized bed coating process, the solution is sprayed onto inert pellets, thereby producing medicament-loaded coated pellets. These coated pellets are subsequently encapsulated in hard gelatin capsules to provide a palatable, stable, and standardized dosage form. The invention ensures enhanced patient compliance, effective masking of taste, and maintains the medicinal efficacy of cow urine. This innovation has wide industrial applicability in the pharmaceutical and Ayurvedic sectors for health promotion and treatment of various disease conditions.
