MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511010912 A) filed by G. B. Pant University Of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar on February 10, 2025, for A Process For Preparation Of Protein Rich Jaggery Instant Cake Mix.

Abstract: A process for preparation of roasted horse gram flour incorporated cake and instant cake mix containing 2.1: 1 RWF: RHG ratio, 30g milk powder/lOOg flour and 10 min baking time. The optimized sample was made in the form of instant mix and stored for which the moisture content and total plate count were found to be ranging from 6.03 to 7.55 % and 0.0003 to 0.0026 CFU/g respectively after 90 days of storage in a dry condition. Consumer acceptability of cake prepared from the stored sample was also assessed which displayed an overall acceptable ranging from 7.8 to 8.5 even after 90 days of storage.
